HARRISBURG – Rep. Tedd Nesbit (R-Mercer/Butler) is inviting area senior citizens to a breakfast meeting to discuss senior issues on Wednesday, Aug. 29. The event will take place at the McQuiston Center, located at 29 Railroad St., in Sandy Lake.

The breakfast will begin at 9:30 a.m. and last about 90 minutes.

“Senior citizens represent a unique and growing portion of our population, with a varying range of issues that can impact them on a day-to-day basis,” Nesbit said. “This breakfast will provide them with information to help them live a better quality of life and educate them on important policy changes going through the General Assembly.”

Topics to be discussed include scams, identity theft, Property Tax/Rent Rebate program and unclaimed property.
